The SCCM console will show the old active directory name of the workstation as long as one of the following SCCM cycles are run:

#1 Active Directory System Discovery

You can use the SCCM console to run the Active Directory System Discovery. This Discovery will observe any changes in the AD sections you have included in the discovery and update the workstations as required.

#2 Discovery Data Collection Cycle

You can use the workstation SCCM client to run a Data Discovery Collection Cycle to force the update.
